The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has further delayed the release of second list for MBBS admissions in Maharashtra by saying that it will be released only after vacant all India quota seats are surrendered to the state. Pravin Shingare, director of DMERE, said that it is a usual process as the second round in the state always starts after vacant all-India quota seats were surrendered. Earlier, the second list was scheduled to be declared on July 26.
"NEET UG 2018 Second Selection List will be published after all-India quota vacant seats are surrendered to the Maharashtra state Quota", the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) said.
The second round of UG NEET 2018 counselling was started by DMER on July 6 and NEET UG 2018 center wise candidates List for Document Verification Phase- II was released on July 13. July 24 was fixed as the last date to verify documents. However, it was extended by a day.
