UGC NET 2019 Application Process Ends: NTA / the National Testing Agency will end the online application process for UGC NET 2019 exam today for candidates from Jammu & Kashmir. According to the official notification of NTA, the apex exam agency will conclude the online registration process for the UGC National Eligibility Test 2019 on 8th November 2019 for applicants from J&K and Ladakh. Extended Application Window

NTA started an extended application window for UGC NET 2019 aspirants on 4th November 2019 for the newly created Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh in the wake of the nearly two month shutdown following abrogation of Article 370. Today i.e. on 8th November 2019, the extended window will end for the candidates of the region.

UGC NET 2019 – Application Fee

While the application window has been extended for the UGC NET 2019 exam, the application process, including application fee has remained unchanged for the candidates for Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. According to the official notification, General category candidates will have to pay Rs 1000/- as application registration fee while the application fee for Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL category candidates is Rs 500/-. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender category, the application fee is Rs 250/-.
