The UGC NET December 2018 examination notification has been declared on the official website of NTA that is nta.ac.in. The final examination date and time has been released by the NTA. The candidates who are preparing for the National Eligibility Test (NET) under the University Grants Commission (UGC) can apply for the examination as the registration window has been open since 1st September 2018. The National Test Agency, i.e. NTA will conduct UGC NET 2018 examination from 9th December to 23rd December 2018.
There will be two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2 in UGC NET 2018 entrance examination. The paper 1 will consist of 100 marks with 50 compulsory questions. The paper 2 will be conducted for 200 marks with 100 compulsory questions. Both the examinations will be conducted in two shifts. The accurate date and timings are available on the official website of NTA. The test will be computer based only.
The registration window is now open and the last date to apply for the examination is 30th September 2018. Earlier, CBSE used to conduct the examination of UGC NET for 84 subjects in 91 cities. The aspirants will first have to visit the official website of UGC NET then they will have to click on the link related to “Apply for NET December 2018”. After that, they have to follow the steps to register properly.
The National Testing Agency also known as NTA has been established as an autonomous and self-sustained testing body to conduct entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions. This year the NTA will be conducting engineering, medical as well as management courses. JEE Main 2019, NEET 2019, CMAT 2019 and UGC NET examination are some of the competitive examinations that NTA will focus on.
