UP Board 10th Exam 2021 Likely to be Cancelled: As per media reports, the UP Board 10th Exam 2021 for High School Exam is likely to be cancelled in the wake of the worsening situation around COVID-19 pandemic. Media reports have also claimed that recently UPMSP i.e. Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, has asked the respective schools to submit internal marks of Class 10 students to process results. However, students should keep in mind that this update is based on a media report and that UP Board has not announced cancellation of the Class 10 Board Exams as of now. As of now, officially, the UP Board 10th and 12th Exam 2021 has been postponed until further notice due to COVID-19 pandemic.
UPMSP seeks Internal Marks from Students
Going by the latest update, the UPMSP i.e. UP Board has directed the district coordinators to ask schools to submit internal assessment marks i.e. marks for half yearly and pre-board exams of the year for class 10 students. The Marks are to be submitted on Board’s website and might be used to process UP Board 10th Result 2021 for high-school students. UP Board has asked all DIOS to ensure that all school principals should make this information available to the students by 18th May 2021 - Tuesday evening on the board’s website i.e. upmsp.edu.in.
Result to be based on CBSE’s Assessment Formula
As per media reports, although the UP Board has not announced cancellation of High School Board Exams, it is likely that the Class 10 Exams would be cancelled looking at the current pandemic numbers. Nearly, 28 lakh students have registered for UP Board 10th Exam 2021 and are due to appear for high school exams. But, if and when the board decides to cancel the UPMSP 10th Exam 2021, it is very likely that it would adopt the internal assessment formula or the evaluation criteria being followed by CBSE Board. Therefore, as part of the preparatory process, the UP Board might have asked schools to submit internal assessment marks i.e. marks for half yearly and pre-board exams.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
