Allahabad: The wait just got a bit longer for students expecting their UP Board Results 2017! The recent buzz coming from the UPMSP (Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad) has hinted that the UP Board Class 10 Results and UP Board 12th Results 2017 will be out by the first week of June. Although the UP Board, also known as the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (UPMSP) has been tight lipped about the declaration date for UP Board Results, it seems that they have been delayed further. In June, nearly 60 lakh students will be able to check their UP Board Results 2017 online on official website of the board i.e. www.upresults.nic.in.
As per an earlier update, the UP Board was expected to announce high school and intermediate results by last week of May. However, there is a delay in announcement of results as UPBSE has decided to follow CBSE's decision on marks moderation. Marks moderation policy refers to giving grace marks to students in exams for difficult questions.
''We are not sure whether moderation policy for state board students will apply this year or not as we are still in the process of feeding data while CBSE is about to declare results so we will follow whatever CBSE decides," UPBSE secretary Shail Yadav told The Times of India. This comment from UP Board Secretary has cast a serious doubt regarding the declaration date of UP Board High School and Intermediate Results.
This year, the UP Board exams for class 10th and 12th were also delayed due to assembly election in five states and therefore, exam started from 16 March this year. The Board started the evaluation process from 7 April 2017. But the recent development with regards to marks moderation policy is likely to further delay the UP Board Results 2017.
About 60,61,034 candidates have appeared for the High School and Intermediate Exams this year. Of this, about 34,04,715 expecting their UP Board 10th Result while 26,56,319 are waiting for declaration of UP Board 12th class Result 2017.
Jagran Josh wishes best of luck to all the students for the upcoming UP Board Results 2017!
