JEECUP 2019 Exam 2019 has been rescheduled due to the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2019. The Joint Entrance Exam Council, Uttar Pradesh has announced the revised dates for the UPJEE 2019 exam earlier known as JEECUP 2019 exam. The UP Polytechnic exam which was earlier scheduled to be held on 28th April 2019 will not be held on 26th May 2019. The decision to reschedule or postpone the JEECUP 2019 exam comes in the wake of recently announced schedule for General Elections 2019. Earlier in the month, the Election Commission of India announced dates for Lok Sabha Election 2019. The polls will be held in seven phases starting from 11th April to 19th May 2019. The poll schedule has affected many entrance exams like ICAI CA Exam 2019, NATA and others.
Along with announcing the change in dates for the UPJEE 2019 Polytechnic exam, the JEE Council of Uttar Pradesh has also extended the application deadline for the exam. Now, candidates will be able to apply or fill application forms for UPJEE 2019 exam until 31st March 2019. The application correction window to make changes or correct errors in the application forms will commence from 1st April 2019 and continue until 4th April 2019.
The official notification available on the official website of UPJEE 2019 i.e. jeecup.nic.in reads, “The result/ score of UPJEE (Polytechnic) - 2019 for all candidates will be declared by third week of May 2019. This score shall comprise the actual marks obtained in UPJEE (Polytechnic) - 2019 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in UPJEE (Polytechnic) counseling – 2019”. This has brushed aside fears of candidates regarding delay in the declaration of UPJEE 2019 exam.
UPJEE 2019 is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted to screen and shortlist students for admission to Diploma/ Post Diploma/ Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering, Technology and Management Programs in Polytechnic Institutions affiliated to Board of Technical Education U P. UPJEE 2019 or JEECUP 2019 exam will be held in offline or pen-and-paper mode. The examination paper will be bilingual i.e. will be available in both Hindi as well as English. Each paper of UPJEE will consist of 100 questions.
