Taking into account the convenience of the lakhs of students appearing for the UPSEE, the AKTU has released the UPTU Result 2018 online on their official website.
Established in the year 2000 as the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, the UPTU is the main stakeholder when it comes to technical and professional education in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Considering the sheer size of India’s biggest state, the UPTU was bifurcated into two different units i.e. Gautam Buddha Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University, with effect from 1 May 2010. The move was aimed at easing the overall workload over the workforce and ensuring quality management of technical education in the state. However, the decision was turned back on 5th January 2013 after it failed to produce the desired results and the varsity was again clubbed into a single banner. Later in 2015, the university was renamed after one of India’s most loved presidents and tech icon as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Currently, the AKTU, as it is popularly known as;, has approximately 800 colleges affiliated to it.
