The result for VITEEE 2018, which was likely to be declared on April 25th, 2018 on the official website, i.e. vit.ac.in, has now been delayed. The VITEEE 2018 Entrance Examination was conducted from 4th April 2018 to 15th April 2018. The examinations have been successfully completed without any hindrance and the board is now working towards the declaration of the result. As per the official website, the result will be declared by the month end. We advise all the students keep on checking the official website. The VITEEE 2018 Examination is an online entrance test for which registered students had the power to choose the slot of their own choice. The slot booking for the online test of VITEEE 2018 commenced on 21st March 2018. Students who failed to book their slot for the examinations were given the time slot which was available at that time.
The date for the counseling and slot for the counseling has already been declared on the official website. The counseling will commence from 9th May 2018 and end on 11th May 2018.The admit cards for the VITEEE 2018 were released on March 23rd, 2018. The officials released a notification in which all the required details regarding the VITEEE 2018 e-admit card is given. It is mentioned in the bulletin released that ‘the e-Admit card will be auto-generated for only those candidates who book a slot using the Online Test Booking system before the last date. For those who have not booked, slots will be generated based on the information given in the application form and availability of the slot.’
All the applicants will be shortlisted based on their entrance examination rank and will be then called for the counseling. According to the VITEEE 2018 circular, the final grades are evaluated with great care, and there is no provision for re-grading and re-totaling. The results are to be announced will be final and no changes will be made. The VITEEE 2018 Entrance Examination is being conducted for admission to 18 B.Tech and other undergraduate programmes offered at Vellore, seven B.Tech. programmes at Chennai, three B.Tech. programmes at Bhopal and four B.Tech. programmes at Amaravathi. Around 3 lakh students applied with 33,319 applications received from Andhra Pradesh, 23,664 from Uttar Pradesh, 20,377 from Maharashtra, 18,937 from Telangana and 16,824 from Tamil Nadu.
