WB 12th Board Exam 2020 Update: According to the latest update, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has announced that all pending papers of 12th Class Board Exam or HS / Uccha Madhyamik Exam will now be held in June 2020 due to COVID-19 lockdown. The decision to hold pending exams of WBCHSE Board for WB 12th / HS Class students comes in the light of the recent extension in the COVID-19 lockdown announced by PM Modi until 3rd May 2020. Earlier, West Bengal CM had also announced that all schools and colleges in the state will remain closed until 10th June 2020.

Exams Delayed due to Coronavirus Outbreak

Madhyamik Exams Concluded, Evaluation Work in Progress

While WB CM has confirmed details about Uccha Madhyamik Exam and Promotion of 11th Class students, she has not provided any details about WB Madhyamik Result 2020 that is awaited by the students. However, neither the board nor the state government has yet confirmed any date for the declaration of results. But, sources close to the board have hinted that as evaluation work is already in progress WB Madhyamik results will be declared within two weeks of lifting of lockdown in mid-May.
