WBCHSE HS Result 2018: After successfully announcing Madhyamik Result 2018, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced WBCHSE HS Result 2018 today on the official website of the board. The WBCHSE HS candidates who have appeared for WBCHSE 12th Examination 2018 are asked to keep all the details ready for the fast and easy access to the result. This year, the WBCHSE conducted the class 12 examination from 27th March to 11th April. The West Bengal 12th Result 2018 is now live on the official website of the board i.e. wbresults.nic.in. The Board in its earlier notification had said that the WBCHSE will announce the results on June 8. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will publish the WBCHSE HS or Higher Secondary or Class 12 results on Friday at 10 am through a press conference which has been scheduled to be held at Rabindra Milan Mancha, 7th floor, Vidyasagar Bhavan of the Council.
The candidates who will be checking their WBCHSE HS (Class 12) Result 2018 today must note that the results will also be served on India’s most trusted educational website Jagran Josh (wb12.jagranjosh.com). This year, the declaration of the WB HS Result 2018 will seal the fate of more than 10 lakh students. In 2017, the total number of students who appeared for the WBCHSE was 7,73,834, of which 6,22,435 were able to qualify the examination, taking total pass percentage to 80.04 per cent. Archisman Panigrahi of Hoogly Collegiate School had topped the examination by scoring 99.2 per cent.

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCSHE) came into existence through the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, Act 1975. It was established to regulate the educational system at 10+2 level. The WBCSHE is responsible for conducting examinations for the evaluation at Higher Secondary level and it also provides the curriculum, syllabus and the courses of studies and prescribes the textbooks etc. Every year, 7 lakh plus students participate in the WBCSHE Board Examination.
