The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has decided to promote all the students of class 11 to class 12 for the next academic year. According to the official notification, the announcement of promoting the class 11 students was made as per the declaration of the West Bengal Chief Minister and according to the instructions given by the Minister of Education, West Bengal Government.
The notification also states that the class 11 marks of all the completed examinations must be sent in the format as per the norms of the past year by June 22, 2020, to the Council. The marks have to be sent to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org via email or To the regional office via post (Hard-copy).

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has also asked the institutional heads to conserve the unused blank answer sheets of the class 11 students for the council to collect after a proper notification regarding the same is released.
WBCHSE Class 12 Examinations
According to a recent announcement made by the West Bengal Chief Minister Manta Banerjee, the West Bengal Board Class 12 or HS Examinations will be conducted in June 2020. The complete schedule of the remaining examinations will be released on the official website of the board as soon as the lockdown is lifted. The class 12 West Bengal Board examinations were postponed until April 15, 2020, due to the COVID-19 lockdown which was announced on March 24, 2020.
The State Chief Minister had also stated earlier that the class 11 and college students will be promoted to the next class or Semester respectively without conducting examinations. The West Bengal Class 10 or Madhyamik Examinations conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education had concluded earlier and the exam paper evaluation is underway.
