NBSE Result 2016 (HSLC - 10th & HSSLC -12th Results 2016 Nagaland Board): Results announced . The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced 03 May 2016 as the tentative date for the declaration of NBSE HSLC Result 2016 and NBSE HSSLC Result 2016. Once the results are officially declared from the NBSE headquarters in Kohima, students will be able to check their results on official website nbsenagaland.com. Results will also be available on partner website nagaland10.jagranjosh.com / nagaland12.jagranjosh.com.

This year’s NBSE HSLC Board Exam was conducted from 10 to 23 February 2016 at 72 centres across Nagaland. On the other end, NBSE Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) [Class 12] examination was organized at 50 centres across the state from 09 till 27 February 2016. Since the successful completion of board exams, students have been waiting with nervous anticipation for the NBSE HSLC Result 2016.

A total of 22,969 students are patiently waiting for the announcement of Nagaland HSLC Result 2016. The number is lower compared to last year, when 23,612 students appeared for the Nagaland High School Leaving Certificate Exam 2015. Last year, the overall pass percentage for Nagaland HSLC Result fell by around 2% to 63.05%. The Nagaland HSLC Result pass percentage was 65.19% in 2014.

When it comes to Class 12 Board Exam, the overall student participation in the board exam stands at 14,508 students for all the three streams of arts, commerce, and science. In 2015, the Nagaland HSSLC Result was announced for 13,657 students on 30 April 2016. In line with the Class 10 Result, the Nagaland HSSLC Result 2015 saw a dip in pass percentage to 72.13% from 78.27% in 2014.

However, looking at the positive reviews of exams papers by both students as well as academicians, NBSE is expected to arrest the fall in success ratio in Nagaland Board Results this year.

Nagaland Board of School Education has always tried to keep up its track record of declaring the Board Results on time. The Board had declared NBSE HSLC Result for 2015 on 30 April 2016. If it manages to declare the results as per the tentative date, it would score a hat-trick in terms of announcing the NBSE Results 2016 on time. 

About the Nagaland Board: The Nagaland Board of School Education is popularly known by its abbreviation NBSE in the State. The Board is considered to the final authority when it comes to development, promotion and propagation of school level education in the state. The Board was formed on 15 November 1973; through a legislative Act of Nagaland assembly. It became operational in October 1974 and since then has been working for the betterment of school education in Nagaland from its headquarters in Kohima.
