Amrita M.Tech Admission 2015

- Amrita University conducts Post graduate examination entrance. Applications form are now available from February 21, 2015. Candidates who have qualified in GATE 2015 can be apply online for the Amrita M.Tech Admission 2015 if they meet the specified eligibility criteria. Candidates who are not qualified GATE scores may also apply on the basis of their academic performance or a written entrance test and interview as per the guidelines of the university. Amrita M.Tech Admission 2015 Eligibility Criteria:


B.E./ B.Tech Degree with Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in the respective disciplines or equivalent


Amrita M.Tech Admission 2015 Selection Procedure:


Direct admission - Students who meet the specified eligibility criteria and have an with outstanding academic record or performance in GATE will be given provisional admission and will be exempted from any written entrance examination.
Admission based on screening at campus - Candidates without valid scores will be eligible for admissions on the basis of their academic records, written test OR interview.

Please note: If you have applied after May 10th and are not a GATE qualified student, your interview will be held in the month of June. You need not come for interview on May 23rd or May 24th. GATE qualified students that have applied after May 10th will start receiving direct admission offers from next week onwards.


Amrita M.Tech Admission 2015 Counselling:


  • Counselling for admissions will start from June first week, 2015
  • Candidates who are short-listed on the basis of their GATE scores will have to attend the counselling in person along with the specified documents in original for verification
  • If allotted a seat, they have to pay the Admission Fees as specified
  • Other candidates will be allowed direct admissions if they have outstanding academic records or on the basis of the written test/interview conducted by the university




Amrita University M.Tech. Admission 2015 How to Apply:

There are three ways to apply for the M.Tech. program:


1. Online Application


2. Physical mailing of application after obtaining it from the Admissions Coordinator at each campus.


3. Physical mailing of application after obtaining it from specific Dhanalakshmi Bank branches.
