The Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) will soon declare the APOSS SSC 2015 results.
Every year more than 70 thousands students of the State, those who cannot attend regular school, appear for APOSS SSC Examinations conducted by the AP Open School Society. The results APOSS SSC 2015 exams are expected to be announced in the month of May 2015.
The APOSS, the first State Open School of the country, was established as an autonomous society under the AP Public Societies Act on 20 February 1991. It was inaugurated on 17 March 1991 ‘the Ugadi Day’. The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is the Chief Patron and the Education Minister of the state is the Patron of the Society. The Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh is the Chairman of the General Body and an Executive Board at the State Level. For successful implementation of the scheme, there are District level committees in each District of the state. The District Collector of the respective District is the Chairman and District Educational Officer is the Member-Secretary of the Committee.
The APOSS aims to provide continuing education to those students who have missed opportunities to complete school and development education and also to those adult neo-literates, working men and women who are desirous of pursuing school level education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode.
The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has announced the new passing criteria for CBSE Class 10 students.
The class 10th students who appeared in the CBSE board exams that began on March 5 were granted relaxation in passing marks.
The NIOS or National Institute of Open Schooling has released the hall tickets for the October 2018 examinations.
