- Admissions to the higher degree programmes at the various campuses of BITS is through the BITS HD Admission Test 2015 . BITS HD Admission Test 2015 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must secure a minimum of 60% aggregate in the any integrated first degree of BITS or its equivalent. Students with a B.E./B.Tech degree in IT will be eligible only to apply for M.E. Software Systems and also may need some specific prior preparation

BITS HD Admission Test 2015 Exam Pattern:

The BITS HD exam consists of two parts as follows:

 

Part 1: An online exam of 60 minutes duration consisting of 60 questions in the following with each section consisting of 15 questions
Core Mathematics
Core Physics
English Language Skills & Principles of Management
Computer Programming

 

Part II: An online exam of 120 minutes with 100 questions
It is a compulsory test for students based on the qualifying degree programme
Note: Candidates applying for only Software systems need not attempt this section
Note: Candidates who are applying for M.E. in Software systems will have to attempt a special test consisting of 50 questions to be answered in 60 Minutes
Marks: Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark

BITS HD Admission Test 2015 Application Fees: Rs.1900

Payment mode: any one of the following
1. Online (Credit/Debit/Netbanking)
2. Cash payment at select ICICI branches using a challan to be printed from the website

BITS HD Admission Test 2015 Counseling Process:

 

  • Candidates who qualify in the BITS HD exam will be shortlisted and called for counseling in the last week of June

  • After the interviews, seats will be allotted and the candidates can pay the required fees and complete the admission formalities
