HP Board Result 2016 Class 10th & 12th: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) will announce its Class 10th and 12th results 2016 likely in the first week of May. Every year, Lakhs of students appear for the HPBOSE 10th and 12th.

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education holds its existence from the year of 1969. The Education Board of Himachal prescribes syllabi for both the exams, courses of instructions and text books for school education in Himachal Pradesh besides conducting examinations.
Last year the results for HPBOSE 10th and 12th were announced in the first week of May which means that HPBOSE Results 2016 may also tentatively be announced in the first week of May itself. In order to retrieve your results you need to submit your Roll Number/Registration Number or Roll Code as per mentioned in the admit card/hall ticket.
Last Year, out of total 1,33,892 students who appeared in the HP Board Class 10 examination 2015, 86,304 passed while 18120 got compartment. Girls outshined the boys in the merit list.
In the result of HPBOSE 12th 2015, out of the total 98,410 students who appeared in the examination, 67,054 passed, while 17,316 received compartment.
Going a year more back, in the year of 2014, total of 1.45 lacs students took HPBOSE 10th examination held in March with the total pass percentage was 61.16 per cent.

However, it is important to keep in mind that the printed HPBOSE result 2016 cannot be considered as a valid reference for higher education as well as other documentations. Candidates have to get the original result certificate issued by the Himachal Board for the same.

As many as 5 lakh candidates annually appear for these examinations. Presently more than 8000 lakh schools are affiliated with Himachal Pradesh board of education. There are up 1650 examination centres throughout Himachal Pradesh.
