Himachal Pradesh Combined Management Aptitude Test (HP-CMAT 2015) is conducted for the admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for all the universities/Institutions affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University.
The management aptitude test is conducted by Institute of Management Studies (at Himachal Pradesh University) on behalf of the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Himachal Pradesh.
About ISAT Admission
HP-CMAT 2015 is a common entrance test for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for all the universities/Institutions affiliated to universities in Himachal Pradesh. In accordance with the UGC guidelines there shall be only one entrance test for all such Institutions. The Government of Himachal Pradesh, Department of Technical Education has designated (MBA Deptt.) Institute of Management Studies, HP University Summerhill, Shimla-5, as the Nodal agency for conducting Entrance Test for MBA admission to all the Universities/ Institutions affiliated to universities in HP.
HPCMAT offers admission only for admission to MBA – Master of Business Administration.
The admission of applicants will be made on the grounds of the merit list prepared according to the marks attained by them in the HP CMAT conducted at various centres across India. After the declaration of the merit list, the education board of Himachal Pradesh will call the shortlisted students for counseling & GD/PI rounds. Final selection of the candidate for admission will rest entirely on their overall attainment.
HPCMAT is usually conducted in the month of April/May.
