ISC Results 2016 (CISCE ISC 12th Result 2016) Declaration Date: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced on Friday, April 29, that the ICSE (class 10) and ISC (class 12) examination results will be declared on May 6 at 3 pm. For the first time, the board has used Live Ink Character Recognition (LICR) technology, for faster compilation of results. it is because of the LICR technology, that the board is likely to announce the results two weeks ahead of the scheduled dates.

The ISC results 2016 are being declared two weeks earlier this year as compared to previous years.

ISC Results 2016 & ICSE Results 2016: The results of the ISC examinations, conducted by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), would be declared on May 6. After the declaration of the results after 10.00 am, it would be available through the Careers portal of the Council, the website of the Council and also through SMS. Schools could access the results by logging on to the portal by using the principal’s login ID and password. The ISC Examination has been conducted in 48 written subjects of which 12 are Indian languages, 5 are foreign languages and 3 are classical languages.

For ISC in India, the Southern Region has the best pass percentage i.e. 98.32%, followed by Western Region (95.74%), Northern Region (95.01%) and Eastern Region (94.91%). Abroad, ISC has achieved pass percentage of 98.51%

  • 2,271 Scheduled Caste candidates took the examination achieving a pass percentage of 94.63%
  • 2,350 Scheduled Tribe candidates took the examination achieving a pass percentage of 89.66%
  • 6,910 Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 95.07%
  • Special Difficulty cases for ISC such as Dyslexia cases were 193 (2 candidates obtained above 90%); Visually Challenged cases were 20 (3 candidates obtained above 90%) and 1 candidates took exam from hospital.
  • The Council for the fifth year successfully conducted the centralized evaluation of answer scripts for the ISC Examination.
  • ISC had 162 centralized evaluation centers across the Country.
  • The ISC Examination Mark Sheets and Pass Certificates will reach the schools latest by 22nd May 2014

 

 

ISC is popularly known as Indian School Certificate and this examination is conducted by the council of for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) for Grade 12 and it is important usually attempts. The examination has been primarily designed to provide an evaluation in the field of general education. The exam principles are in agreement with the references of the Indian New Education Policy of 1986, through the medium of English and also regulated by University of Cambridge.

For ISC exam 2013 in India, Southern region had the best pass percentage i.e. 98.28% followed by Western region (97.17%), Eastern region (95.29%) and the Northern region (94.28%). Abroad, ISC exam 2013 has achieved 98.31% pass rate.
