Karnataka PGCET 2015- Admissions to the M.Tech/ M.E courses in Karnataka will be through the Karnataka PGCET 2015.Candidates must appear for the Karnataka PGCET 2015 after meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria. Candidates must note that they need not appear for the Karnataka PGCET 2015 if they have valid GATE scores. Karnataka PGCET 2015 Eligibility Criteria

 

  • A candidate must have passed B.Tech/B.E or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates)
  • Candidates must have studied for a minimum seven years from Class I to the qualifying exam
  • They must meet the domicile requirements as specified by the authorities

 

Note: Candidates with valid GATE scores need not appear for Karnataka PGCET 2015 and will be given preference over the others.

 

Karnataka PGCET 2015 Exam Pattern:

 

  • The total No of Questions is 75 as follows
  • Part 1: 50 questions of 1 mark each
  • Part 2: 25 questions of 2 marks each
  • Total Marks= 100
  • The Duration of the exam is 120 minutes.

 

Karnataka PGCET 2015 Application Form Process

 

  • The Application Form is online. Candidates must fill all details –personal, academic qualifications and contact details
  • They must upload the scanned copy of their recent photo and signatures as per specifications
  • They must pay the Application fees as specified below
  • They must enter the details of the Application Fees Payment before submitting the Application Form

Karnataka PGCET 2015 Counseling Process:


  • Candidates have to complete their document verification tentatively in August, 2015 as per the given schedule
  • They must attend the Counselling in person along with the requisite original documents as specified
  • There will be two rounds of Counselling for Karnataka PGCET 2015
  • Students have to specify their choice through the PG option entry available in August, 2015
  • Karnataka PGCET 2015 Seat allotment will be done on the basis of the Karnataka PGCET 2015 Ranks and the options entered by the candidates
