– is a state level post graduation entrance exam every year conducts by Directorate of technical Education, Maharashtra State. About Maharashtra M.Tech Admission 2015:


The DTE Maharashtra will be conducting admissions to M.Tech/M.E courses in the engineering colleges in Maharashtra on the basis of positive GATE 2015 scores for the academic year 2015-15. The M.Tech admissions will be through the Centralised Counselling.

Maharashtra M.Tech Admission 2015 Eligibility Criteria:


  • A candidate must have a valid positive GATE score (2015/2016)
  • Candidate should be an Indian National
  • Candidates must have passed a Bachelors degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology from an AICTE/MHRD approved institutions, as specified by the concerned University with at least 50 % Aggregate marks (45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)
  • Candidates who are appearing for their final examination are also eligible provided they fulfill the criteria during admissions
  • Note: 85% of the seats are for Maharashtra candidates


Maharashtra M.Tech Admission 2015 Exam Pattern:

There is no exam. Admissions are on the basis of GATE scores.


Maharashtra M.Tech Admission 2015 Application Form Fees: Rs 700 (Rs 500 for SC/ST/PwD)


Payment mode: Via net banking by Internet Payment, Credit Card or Debit Card payment gateway. Extra Charges applicable


Maharashtra M.Tech Admission 2015 Application Form Process:


  • Candidates have to apply online and have to safe keep the Application ID and password generated online
  • Candidates must take a printout after submission and sign on the designated place
  • Candidates must also keep the payment receipt safe to be produced during document verification

Maharashtra M.Tech Admission 2015 Counseling Process:

  • Candidates are required to confirm the online application form at ARC in-person along with the specified documents in original.
  • Candidates are required to submit a set of copies of the specified documents at the ARC after verification
  • Candidates must also furnish proof of payment of the application fees
  • Applications submitted online and subsequently confirmed at ARCs will only be considered valid for further processing
  • Receipt of Payment of fees will be attested by ARC officer
  • The candidates are instructed to carefully preserve the attested receipts of the payment for further use
  • Candidates will be able to fill in the online option form through their login on website only using their Application ID and Password
  • The seat allotment will be done on the basis of options confirmed by the candidate, inter se merit of the eligible candidate and available seats at that point of time during the allotment stage/process
  • Candidates will have to check their allotment and download it for admission
