The MICA Admission Test or MICAT, which is considered as one of the most important management entrance examinations, is being conducted for the candidates who want to get themselves enrolled in MICA’s flagship course i.e. Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C). The MICAT focuses on Strategic Marketing and Communication. The MICAT (I) 2019 will be held on December 1, 2018 and MICAT (II) 2019 will be held on February 9, 2019. The candidates who are preparing for the examination must note that the registration window for MICAT (I) 2019 is open till November 20, 2018.
To be able to appear in the MICAT exam, the candidates will have to take at least one of the three national level management entrance exams: CAT, XAT and GMAT. The final composite score for admission shall be created based on the following weightage:

The MICAT 2019 will be announced two times, once after the MICAT written test and second after the GD & PI rounds. The result for MICAT-I will be released on 18th December 2018 and the MICAT-II result will be out on 19th February 2019. The result can be viewed through online mode only. On the basis of written result, the candidates will be called for further admission rounds.
The MICAT 2019 Admit Card will be made available to download through online mode. The candidates can get their admit card by using their login credentials. The candidates must note that the MICAT 2019 admit card is one the most important documents which makes the candidate enable to sit in the examination.
As mentioned above the MICAT 2019 results will be available twice, once after the MICAT written test and second after the GD & PI rounds. Soon after the formal declaration of the results, the scorecards will be available on the official website of MICA. The candidates can check the results by entering all the required details. The MICA Admission Test or MICAT will be conducted twice (December and January). This year, the MICAT will be conducted in 48 centers namely Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Ajmer, Aligarh, Allahabad, Bareilly, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Dhanbad, Faridabad,Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Gwalior, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Meerut, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, Muzaffarnagar, Nagpur, Noida, Panjim, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Surat, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.
The MICA Admission will be purely based on candidate’s scores in MICAT, GE & PI round. The selection will be based by providing 50% weightage to MICAT 2019, 18% weightage to GE, 30% weightage to PI and remaining 2% weightage to CAT/XAT/GMAT scaled scores. For admission to the PGDM-C course, the better of the two MICAT scores will be considered. If candidates have appeared in CAT & XAT or CAT & GMAT or XAT & GMAT or all three-CAT, XAT and GMAT, the better of the two/ best of the three exams performance will be considered for admission.
MICAT (II) result 2018 was announced on the official website of MICA on 28th February 2018. The candidates who have qualified in entrance exam was called for further rounds of selection process i.e. GE-PI. Later, the list of candidates shortlisted for GE & PI rounds was released on the official website and the final result was declared on 31st March 2018. MICA Admission Test is the University level entrance examination which is conducted by the Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA), Ahmedabad.
