MPBSE (Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education)
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education was established in the year 1965 under Madhya Pradesh and the board of this state education provides immense support, direction and leadership for all educational institution under its jurisdiction. The board of education also provides past year question papers, syllabus, to all the schools affiliated to the same. All these examinations be it 10th or 12th are taken to be a turning point in the lives of students. This is because the future prospects of aspirants are highly dependent on them.
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Education is also responsible for determining the policy related, administrative, cognitive, and intellectual direction of the state’s higher educational system. The board also regulates and supervises the system of intermediate education in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It also executes and governs various activities which include devising of courses, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting affiliations to colleges. The board of education also provides direction, support and leadership to all the educational institutions under its jurisdiction.
The Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the sixteenth year of the Republic of India, enacted an Act for the establishment of a Board in order to regulate secondary education in the state of Madhya Pradesh and other ancillary matters. In the year 1965 this autonomous body was established under The Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Act. The main activities of the board are stated below;

2. To prescribe courses and text books at High School and Intermediate level
3. To conduct High School and Intermediate Examinations
4. To provide equivalence to the examinations conducted by other Boards
