NIOS 10th/12th Result 2016
NIOS is popularly known as National Institute of Open School Learning formerly known as National Open School is the board of distance education under the Union Government of India. The same was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India in the year 1989. The main aim of the same is to provide education to remote areas under the motive to increase literacy and aimed forward for flexible learning. The institute almost has a cumulative enrolment of about 1.5 million students from 2004–2009 at Secondary and Senior Secondary levels and enrols about 350,000 students annually which makes it the largest open schooling system in the world.
The examinations are mainly held twice a year in the months of April–May and October–November on dates fixed by the NIOS and the results for the same are announced usually 6 weeks after the last date of examinations.
In the year 2015, approximately 1 lakh 53 thousand students had appeared for 10th class examination and approximately 1 lakh 72 thousand wrote 12th class examinations. It has been inferred that there has been a progressive increase in the pass percentage of students among both boys and girl. As far as NIOS Results 2016 are concerned, the results will be announced once the examinations are successfully conducted.

OBE ‘A ‘level course -equivalent to class iii
OBE ‘B’ level course – equivalent to class V
OBE ‘C’ level course – equivalent to class VIII
Secondary course – equivalent to class X
Senior secondary course – equivalent to class XII

The results for the same are published on the website or the result can also be checked through SMS.Students can even register their e-mail id for more information. This will help them to obtain result related information instantly without creating any sort of hassles. All these precautions are needed to avoid end minute chaos and confusion.
