Punjab Board Class 10th & 12th Result 2016
Punjab School Education Board Class 10th Exam 2016 conducted successfully from 20 Feb to 14 March 2016, and Result will be announced in the month of May 2016. In the year 2015 the Punjab School Education Board declared its 10th Class examinations result on 27-May-2015 and approximately 3.5 lakh students appeared for these examinations which were held in March-April. In the same year the board also decided to give away cash rewards to the toppers; the ones who secured first, second and third position. The cash prize came out to be 1 lakh for first position, 75000 for the second one and 50,000 for the third one.

All these examinations play an important role in the life of students. This is because the future prospects of the students are highly dependent on the score attained in these examinations.
Last Year For class 12th, the results were announced on 12 June 2015 and approximately 2, 98,000 students had appeared for the examinations. Every year the number of students appearing for the examination increases and also the pass percentage for the same rises in number. It goes without saying that over the years the value of education has increased and now parents compel their children to attain proper education in order to sustain themselves.
Another significant aspect of these examinations is the valid study material. It is extremely important for the students to refer valid study material and if any of the reference books are consulted, aspirants should make sure that no confusion or chaos is created. This will make their minds clear. In addition, it is also important for the students to practise mock test papers or model test papers. These model test papers comprise of past year questions as well in order to prepare students in all aspects.
The Punjab School Education Board came into existence through a legislative enactment in November 1969 for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab. The board of education functions extensively and covers wide area including every aspect of education. They leave no stone unturned to provide qualitative education to the students. It also prescribes curriculum, courses of studies, text books, for school education. The board also arranges for the preparation, compilation, improvement, publication, printing, and sale of text books.
It goes without saying that all these examinations play a significant role in the life of students. This is because after the completion of class 10th examinations students are offered with various subject choices. And after the completion of class 12th examinations these choices take shape in the form of respective careers of the students.
