Punjab School Education Board or more commonly known as PSEB will soon after the exam is over, declare the PSEB result. PSEB stands for Punjab School Education Board and is more commonly known by its abbreviation. It is the state board of education in Punjab, India which grants affiliation to the schools that are operating in the state of Punjab. The board covers schools of many cities such Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Moga etc. The schools hence run on the syllabus and text books provided by the Punjab School Education Board. The PSEB education is well recognized by all the universities in India. The certificate from PSEB board is valid qualification.
The PSEB conducts 10th and 12th board examination every year in the month of March-April. A remarkable number of students appear for the board examination across all various examination centers that are located in the different cities of Punjab. Last year more than 30 lakh Candidates appeared for PSEB 12th board exams out of which approximately 22 lakh students passed the examination.
If we check the last year’s statistics then it is clear that the percentage of passed students is increasing every year. In year 2014, it was 87%, in 2015, it was 82%. In all the years, girls have outshined the boys in the result of both PSEB 10th and PSEB 12th. PSEB Result 2016 gives an expectation that the pass percentage will reach till 95%.
