Tamilnadu Board Board of Intermediate results (Tamilnadu Board Board) successfully conducted Class 12th examination from 4th March 2016 to 1st April 2016. As per the latest reports of Tamilnadu Board Board official sources Board has completed students copy checking process and now students result can be announced anytime in may 2016.
Previous year (2015), the TN Board Examination for Class 10th and 12th was held in March. While a total of 5, 98, 592 students had appeared for the SSLC (Class 10th) Exam; 8, 82, 860 students took the HSC (Class 12th) Exam. The overall pass percentage was better than the previous year for both the examination. The pass percentage for Class 10th & Class 12th was 91.78% and 90.06%, respectively. Tamilnadu Board of Secondary Education (TN SSLC or TN PBoard) successfully conducted Class 10th examination from 15th March 2016 to 12th April 2016. As per the latest reports of Tamilnadu Board Board official sources board has completed students copy checking process and now students result can be announced any time in May 2016.
Previous year TN Board Result saw a better performance among the girls than boys. The pass percentage among female candidates was 89.25 % (Class 10th) and 93.04% (Class 12th), while it was 88.79% (Class 10th) and 87.05% (Class 12th) for boys. Result is expected to be better this time as well, taking the regular growth in pass percentage into consideration.
