TS Polycet is the abbreviated form of Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test. The TS Poly CET 2016 will be a state level polytechnic entrance test for admission of deserving and eligible candidates to various polytechnic courses in the field of engineering, non-engineering and technical education offered by various government and private polytechnic institutions across the newly formed Telangana state. TS Poly CET 2016 examination will be conducted by the Telangana State Board of Technical Education, Government of Telangana. Students who have passed SSC or its equivalent and recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, TS, Hyderabad are eligible to appear for this exam. In case any candidate who have compartmentally passed or appearing for SSC are as well eligible to apply. However, they must have passed in all the subjects before the admission is granted to them.
The application form for TS Poly Cet 2016 will be available in the last week of April 2016 via both the online and offline modes. Candidates can achieve their application from the official site of the board or they can get the application form along with the information booklet from the designated centers across the Telangana state. The application form would be submitted by the online or if filled offline, then by post to the office address of state board given in the official website. Students may also fill the application form via online from the centres designated by the board to facilitate the aspiring candidates.
TS Poly CET examination will be asked in English and Urdu languages only. It is mandatory for candidates to have secured the minimum 30% marks in CET 2016 for meeting the pass criteria. The paper will comprise total of 100 MCQ from the syllabus of 10th/SSLC of state board or central board.
The result of TS Polycet 2016 will be declared most tentatively on the third week of June 2016. The result will be announced on the official site of the board on the given time by the board. Candidates would check their result by entering their roll number and their name in the given tab. They can take out a print out of their score card.
In order to crack this exam, it is advised that students start preparing for it months before the date of exam. The best way to evaluate your preparation is via practice papers, Mock tests etc. This will help them evaluate their preparation level and identify their weak areas so that they can work hard on the same to give their best shot.
