The work profile of Mail Carrier is to carry the mail from the branch and deliver it within the area the candidate is posted. The other responsibilities of Mail Carrier include assisting BPM & MD for the smooth functioning of their branch.

Packer is someone who performs variety of functions starting from opening the mail bag every morning to sorting out the mails as per the preference, to pack the mails of other places for the mail van that will travel to other cities and lastly assist the BPM, MD & MC with some of their official work.

Eligibility Criteria of Gramin Dak Sevak

The candidate applying for Gramin Dak Sevak should have passed Class 10 with any subject from any accredited board. A computer course of minimum 60 days time frame is a must from any institute recognized by the concerned department of the Central or State Government.
