Mumbai's first underground metro spans 12 km between Aarey Colony and BKC, with 10 stations. The entire 33.5 km line will have 27 stations by March 2025.
Operational Hours
Operational hours are from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM on weekends, with nine rakes completing 96 trips daily.
Train Capacity
Each eight-car train will carry around 2,500 passengers, with 48 train captains operating the service. The trains are designed for driverless operation if needed.

Key areas served include Aarey Colony, BKC, Nariman Point, Worli, Dadar, and direct access to both Mumbai's domestic and international airports.
