Emperor Penguin
The largest penguin species, standing up to 1.2 meters tall. Emperors are known for their incredible endurance, breeding during the Antarctic winter when temperatures plummet.
Known for their bright orange beaks and the white stripe across their heads, Gentoo penguins are the fastest swimming penguins, reaching speeds of up to 36 km/h.
Chinstrap Penguin
Chinstrap are highly social and often gather in massive colonies, usually settling on ice-free coastal islands near Antarctica.
King Penguin
The second-largest penguin species, King penguins are found in the sub-Antarctic. They are notable for their long breeding cycle and their striking yellow-orange neck feathers.

Closely related to the Macaroni penguin, Royal penguins are distinguished by their pale faces and are found mainly on Macquarie Island, near Antarctica.
