Early Life
Rekha Gupta was born on July 19, 1974, in Julana, Haryana. She grew up in Delhi and was interested in leadership from a young age.
School Education
She studied at Manender Shakti Vidyalaya and Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Ashok Vihar. She was an active student and participated in various school activities.
Higher Education
She completed her B.Com and M.A. from Delhi University and later earned an MBA and LLB. Her education helped her develop strong leadership and management skills.
Student Politics
She started her political career in college with ABVP and became DUSU President in 1996. This gave her early experience in organising and leading student movements.
Municipal Politics
She was elected as an MCD councillor from Uttari Pitampura in 2007 and 2012. During this time, she worked on women’s welfare, education and community development.
BJP Leadership Roles
She held important roles in BJP, including National Vice President of BJP Mahila Morcha in 2021. She worked to empower women in politics and society.
