IAS and IPS officers have the same basic salary structure as determined by the 7th Pay Commission.
House Rent Allowance
Both IAS and IPS officers receive HRA or government accommodation, with the specifics depending on their location and rank.
Dearness Allowance
Both services receive DA, which is a cost-of-living adjustment allowance.
Travel Allowance
Both IAS and IPS officers are entitled to TA for official travel purposes.
Risk and Hardship Allowance
IPS officers may receive additional allowances for postings in difficult and hazardous areas.
Uniform Allowance
IPS officers receive a uniform allowance, which is not applicable to IAS officers.
