On June 14, 1982, Ashneer Grover was born in Delhi. His mother was a teacher, while his father worked as a chartered accountant (CA).

After completing his elementary schooling in Delhi, he went on to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi to earn a B Tech in civil engineering.
INSA Lyon University, France
In 2002–2003, he participated in a student abroad program at INSA Lyon University in France. In 2006, he earned his MBA from the IIM, Ahmedabad.

Ashneer Grover held positions in a number of companies such as American Express, Grofers, PC Jeweller Ltd., and Kotak Investment Bank.
Resigned from the bharatpe
He left the company on February 28, 2022, both as a board director and as MD and resigned after the board meeting regarding the PwC audit report.
Appeared in Shark Tank India
He co-founded the BharatPe in 2018 with Shashvat Nakrani and Bhavik Koladiya. Mr. Grover has also made an appearance on ‘Shark Tank India’ as an investor.
