Her education was completed at Convent of Jesus & Mary School in Shimla, after which she joined Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management in Mumbai to pursue a course in film making.
Dance
She began her career as a theatre artist and professional dancer at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Along with her sister Abha Ranta she moved from Shimla to Mumbai for her future modelling and acting profession.
Dance
Pratibha is also a dancer by profession and associated with Shimla Dance Center. She competed in the Indian hip-hop dance championship where she won the silver medal.
