In 24 hours on July 26, the city experienced rainfall of 944 mm, a 100-year high. More than 1,000 individuals died and 14,000 homes were destroyed.

Bihar (2007)

More than 40% of Bihar has been inundated by the August 2007 flooding. More than 4822 villages and 19 districts were impacted by that flood.

Uttarakhand (2013)

Uttarakhand witness high rain between 13 to 17 June, which caused the Chorabari glacier to melt and the Mandakini river to erupt. 5,000 locals and visitors died.

Tamil Nadu (2015)
