The social media platform Facebook made news in 2021 when it changed its name to Meta. Although it still goes by its original name.
Subway
Earlier, Subway known as Pete's Super Submarines. However, customers couldn't pronounce the name, it was altered to Subway in 1968.
Google
Google changed its name to Alphabet in 2015 to serve as a holding company for all of its other operations.
Apple
Apple Computers was the company's original name when it was established in 1976. But it changed its name to Apple in 2007.
Pepsi-Cola
In 1893, Caleb Bradham established Pepsi-Cola. He gave the name Brad's Drink but the business changed its name to Pepsi-Cola in 1898.
Netflix
In 2011, Netflix attempted to divide its business into two, Netflix would offer streaming services, while Qwikster would be the name of its DVD-by-mail service.
Nike
The business was initially established as a distributor of running shoes. In 1978, the business changed its name to Nike.
