This budget was the first budget of the Modi’s government i n the third term. This focuses on creating ample opportunities for youngsters.
Tax reduction
In this Budget key changes were announced in the taxation, there will be relaxation in the tax deduction including hike in Securities Transaction Tax (STT).
NEW TAX REGIME
In the new tax regime there will be some modifications in the personal income tax slabs and new tax slabs are announced.
Custom duty changes
There will be changes in the custom duty, basic custom duty on silver and gold is reduced to 6 percent and platinum to 6.4 percent.
Mudra Loan eligibility limit
It has announced the mudra loan eligibility limit from 10 lakhs to 20 lakhs for those who have successfully repaid loans under TARUN category.
