Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research, located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, was established as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 2010. AcSIR is set up on a ‘Hub and Spoke’ model where the Hub (AcSIR Ghaziabad) is responsible for centralized administrative functions at the 38 CSIR institutes and 18 Non-CSIR institutes.
