One of the most famous autonomous management colleges in the country, GIM is ranked at 36th by the NIRF, 2022. It is affiliated to Goa University and has been recognised by NBA and AICTE. The college was established in 1993 by Romuald D'Souza and is currently home to over 960 students. It is located near Sanquelim in the city of North Goa district.

Goa Institute of Management offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Admission to the programmes is done through entrance examinations. Candidates must appear for the respective entrance examination and obtain a valid score to be eligible for admission. GIM Goa placement cell organises all the placement activities. It conducts workshops, seminars, industrial visits and prepares students for GIM Goa placements. GIM has a campus area of 50.00 acres with a student and faculty ratio of 869 and 72 respectively.
