Harcourt Butler Technical University is a State Private University, established in 2016 and located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Earlier it was called Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, established in 1921 which was later upgraded to a university in 2016 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
