IFHE, Hyderabad admission to the BBA, B.Com and M.A courses is done on merit basis and PI round. Admission to B.Sc, BCA, M.Tech and M.Sc is made through the scores of the ATIT (Admission Test for ICFAI Tech) entrance exam. B.Arch and BBA LLB/B.A LLB admissions are done on the scores of NATA/JEE Mains and CLAT/LSAT respectively. Admission to MBA is done on the basis of IBSAT, IBSAT is an online computer-based aptitude test, conducted by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. MBA and LLM course admissions are done through a micro presentation and admission test respectively which is followed by a PI round. It is mandatory for the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria for admission.

MBA/PGPM 2025 Application Process

To qualify for admission to our 9 IBS campuses for the February 2025 intake, complete these two steps: the Micro-Presentation and the Personal Interview.

Each candidate will undergo a 5-7 minute interview, during which the panel will assess their attitude, knowledge, communication skills, leadership potential, critical thinking, and goals.

The Micro-Presentation assesses a candidate's ability to:

• Communicate ideas effectively
• Think spontaneously and respond promptly
• Present thoughts clearly and concisely
• Organise and execute their thoughts under time pressure

Micro-Presentation Overview

Process:

Candidates select a number between 1 and 100, with each number linked to a specific pre-assigned topic. Once a number is chosen, the candidate is given their assigned topic

• Preparation Time: 1 minute
• Presentation Time: 3 minutes

Flexibility:

1. If a first topic seems difficult to a candidate, they can choose a second topic by selecting another number between 1 and 100. 
2. Candidates may pick one of the two topics, but no more options will be available. 
3. The topics are randomised with each selection, so even if a subsequent candidate chooses the same number, they will receive a different topic.

Key Features of the Micro-Presentation

1. The Micro-Presentation is an individual exercise, with only the presenter speaking. There will be no interaction or Q&A. 
2. Each candidate will present to a group of 9-11 peers and 2 panelists.

Evaluation Parameters

The Selection Panel will evaluate candidates based on:

• Present  information clearly and concisely within the 3-minute.
• Think quickly and organise thoughts effectively.
• Demonstrate the following qualities:
• Communication skills
• Logical reasoning
• Relevance to the topic
• Confidence
• Body language

Candidates are advised to:

1. Use your prep time wisely: Note down important points or create a brief outline
2. Focus on the essentials: Clearly present the relevant information
3. Pace yourself: Speak at a steady pace to stay within the 3- minute 
4. Project confidence: Maintain a confident and positive body language

The revised selection process provides a more holistic assessment of essential skills, ensuring a standardised, impartial, and transparent evaluation experience for all applicants.

Step-by-step admission process:

1. Candidates have to appear for the respective entrance exams and obtain a valid score.
2. As a next step, candidates have to fill out the online application form available on the website.
3. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in 10+2/graduation or the entrance exams.
4. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA have to prepare a micro presentation and for the LLM programme, they have to appear for an admission test.
5. Final selection for BBA, B.Com, M.A, MBA and LLM is made after a PI round.
6. The final admission is done after the verification of documents and payment of fees.
