Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) is a state-funded deemed university located in Mumbai, India. The institute was established in 1933 making it the only state-funded deemed university in India. ICT is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with &lsquo;A++&rsquo; Grade. It is ranked at 24th position in the Engineering, 5th in the Pharmacy, 23rd in the university and 41st in the overall category as per NIRF rankings 2023.

ICT Mumbai offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is based on entrance examinations. Candidates must fulfil the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai selection criteria to be eligible for admission. ICT Mumbai has a Central Placement cell that provides placement opportunities to the students. The placement and training cell actively conducts the placement drives. Students participate in in-plant industrial internships and training prior to the placements to develop professional experience before being placed in prestigious companies. ICT Mumbai placement cell also offers postgraduate research opportunities in prestigious organisations worldwide. ICT Mumbai offers scholarships to students under certain criteria. It has a campus size of 16 acres with a student and faculty count of 1832 and 126 respectively.
