Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow

The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is fourth in the prestigious IIM family of management schools to be established in India after IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. The Institute was established in 1984. The establishment of IIMs was envisioned and initiated by the first Prime Minister of India – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. IIM-Lucknow has also been listed under "Institution of Excellence" by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. IIM-Lucknow is consistently ranked among the top 5 B-schools in India. It also has a satellite campus in Noida where the executive programs of IIM-Lucknow take place. Situated in a city known for its cultural heritage, the campus is spread over more than 190 acres of beautifully landscaped area.

Infrastructure

Every classroom at IIM Lucknow is incorporated with facilities like, projector, air conditioner, comfortable seats and free access to wi-fi network. IIM-L has a major library by the name of Gyanodaya that has a broad range of management books as well as other reference books.

The library also consists of a vast range of e-services and other e-books. The hostels are fully furnished with facilities like personal computer, 24/7 Internet facility, telephone facility, eatery, TV room etc.

It's a huge campus with lots of trees in it. Academic buildings are also very clean with AC classrooms and comfortable seating. Campus has a lot of greenery full of wildlife. One can easily notice peacocks and other birds roaming in the campus.
