The Institute of Rural Management Anand is a private, autonomous institution, established in 1979 by Dr Verghese Kurien. It is one of the leading business schools, located in Anand, Gujarat. The institute is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an &lsquo;A&rsquo; Grade and approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). IRMA Anand offers postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is based on entrance examinations. Candidates must appear for the respective entrance examination and obtain a valid score to fulfill the Institute of Rural Management Anand selection criteria to be eligible for admission. The IRMA organises a placement programme for every graduating batch. IRMA Anand placement cell takes care of all the placement related activities and grooming sessions. Various organisations from the business sector, government sector, PSUs, NGOs, and multilateral agencies participated in the placement program. Students got placed in various sectors such as agribusiness, consulting and technology, rural marketing, banking and finance, supply chain management, information systems, livelihood promotion, human resource development, etc. The institute has a campus size of 60.00 acres with a student and faculty count of 482 and 31, respectively.
