Kuvempu University is a Public State University, established in 1987, located in Shankaraghatta Shivamogga District, Karnataka. The University is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with &lsquo;A&rsquo; Grade and recognised by the UGC (University Grants Commission). Kuvempu University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is based on entrance examination conducted by the university. Candidates must fulfil the Kuvempu University admission criteria to be eligible for the courses. Kuvempu University invites companies to participate in the placement drive. Students are given details about the placement and organisations visiting the campus. A pre-placement talk about the organisation and the job role offered by them is shared with the students. Interested candidates must apply to the organisation along with their CVs. Selected candidates are then called for group discussions and campus interviews. Finally, organizations make job offers to successfully recruited candidates.
