Admission Process

Getting into the top law colleges mostly relies on passing a national entrance exam.

  • Entrance Exam: For the best colleges like GNLU, admission to the 5-year integrated course (like B.A. LL.B.) is done through the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) score. Other specialized universities, like NFSU, may use other tests or their own entrance exams.
  • Apply and Check Merit: After exam results are announced, the college releases a list of selected candidates (a merit list) based on the entrance score. Some private colleges may also consider marks obtained in Class 12 or Graduation.
  • Confirm the Seat: Selected candidates must complete the final steps, which include showing original documents for verification and paying the course fees to secure the admission.
