Manipal School of Architecture and Planning was established in 2010. It has been offering an Undergraduate degree in Architecture since 1978 and by 2010, MSAP became a full fledged school of Architecture. It is a constituent Institute of Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The Institute believes in providing adequate theoretical and practical training to architects and designers in developments associated with designs at the urban level. MSAP Manipal is approved by the Council of Architecture. It is placed at the 25th position as per NIRF rankings 2023.&nbsp;

Manipal School of Architecture and Planning offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Certificate courses. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of MSAP Manipal in order to seek admission. The Institute has an active placement cell with a dedicated team of students and teachers. Both on-campus and off-campus placement drives are organised in which 200 firms across India and abroad are present. Some of the popular recruiters are Balan Nambisan Architects, Atelier, Keystone, L and T Construction, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Alex Jacob Architects, Atkins and Advani and Associates. The student and faculty count of MSAP Manipal is 1094 and 83 respectively.&nbsp;
