Mizoram University is a Central University, established in 2000, located in Aizawl, Mizoram. The University is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with &lsquo;A&rsquo; Grade and recognised by the UGC (University Grants Commission). It is ranked at 76th position in University category, as per the NIRF rankings 2023.

MU Aizawl offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is based on entrance examination. Candidates must fulfil the Mizoram University admission criteria to be eligible for the courses. Mizoram University is one of the best universities in northeast India. The university not only educates the students studying there but also helps in placing them in reputed organisations through its Placement Cell. The campus has a placement and training cell that handles and manages the entire placement process. The students and faculty members are a part of the Mizoram University placement cell. The cell not only brings organisations for drives but also helps the students in preparing for the final interviews.
