Nalanda University is a Central University, established in 2010, located in Rajgir, Nalanda District, Bihar. It is also recognised as an &lsquo;Institute of National Importance&rsquo; by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Nalanda University, Nalanda: Highlights
Nalanda University offers postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is done on the basis of entrance examination, statement of Purpose (SoP), self introductory note, and followed by an Interview. Candidates must fulfil the Nalanda University admission criteria to be eligible for the courses. The Nalanda University placement cell invites various organisations to the university for the campus recruitment process. The placement cell handles the overall placements and the recruitment related activities. The main function of the placement cell is to offer suitable job opportunities to the students and inform students about in or outside campus placements. The cell connects the students with recruiters for various job opportunities. It acts as a bridge between the job seekers and providers. The cell conducts placement training like technical, analytical, verbal training, group discussions, HR and technical interview skills, soft skills, verbal/non-verbal communication skills, programming skills, etc to prepare the students for final placements and interviews.
