National Institute of Engineering is a Private Institution, established in 1946, located in Mysuru, Karnataka. NIE is an Autonomous college of the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Accredited by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with &lsquo;B++&rsquo; Grade. NIE Mysore Overview
NIE Mysore offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is based on entrance examination. The National Institute of Engineering has a placement and training department that handles the overall placement activities. The prominent organisations visit the campus for recruitment drives every year. The NIE Mysore placement cell contacts over 200 organisations to arrange campus interviews. The institute organises various workshops, seminars, and corporate expectation sessions for students at the time of placement.
